It’s not just your imagination—eggs are a volatile commodity in the market, driving up costs for restaurants, food manufacturers, and breakfast lovers everywhere. But at **Dis Burrito**, we believe in consistency, not just in our delicious, handcrafted burritos but also in our pricing. ### Why Is There an Egg Shortage? The egg market is experiencing a classic case of supply and demand chaos. Several factors are to blame, including: 🥚 **Avian Influenza (Bird Flu)** – A major outbreak has impacted poultry farms, leading to significant losses in egg-laying hens. 🥚 **Rising Feed & Production Costs** – Inflation continues to affect the cost of chicken feed, labor, and transportation, making egg production more expensive. 🥚 **Increased Demand** – As more people opt for high-protein breakfasts (because, let’s face it, eggs are *the* breakfast MVP), demand continues to rise faster than supply can keep up. This combination has led to egg prices soaring, with some suppliers passing those costs along to consumers. ### What Does This Mean for Dis Burrito? Here’s the thing—we use **real**, high-quality eggs in our burritos. And while the cost of eggs has jumped, **we’re committed to keeping our pricing the same**. Why? Because our mission is to provide **delicious, convenient, and affordable** burritos for our coffee shop and food service partners. We don’t believe in sudden price hikes just because the market is fluctuating. Instead, we’re absorbing the cost increase while maintaining the same great quality you expect from us.   ### No Compromises—Just the Same Great Burritos While some brands may cut corners with fillers or egg substitutes, Dis Burrito sticks to what works: ✔️ **Real, fluffy eggs** ✔️ **Bold, flavorful ingredients** ✔️ **Handcrafted quality** ✔️ **Fair pricing for our partners** Egg shortages may come and go, but our burritos? They’re here to stay—same price, same great taste. ### Stock Up While You Can! If you’re a food service provider looking for **a reliable breakfast option that won’t break the bank**, Dis Burrito has your back.
